Corruption at its Best

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

It is presented as a forward thinking company, at the entry level there are a lot of benefits to grow and learn

Cons

The higher up you go the more corrupt the company becomes. There our countless issues with upper management and HR turns with a blind eye to protect its upper management. Peter Tuffo runs the South East Region and cares only for himself, intimidates others and is known in the industry and Florida as a Bully and HR is ok with his actions and he is rewarded financially while holding out pay and bonuses to others. Many people are leaving under his dictatorship and jobs falling apart as his only concern has been Hard Rock as he is tied to the job. This is not only a SE issues, several of the other regions also have similar "dictatorships" they lie directly to the Owner and Founder of the company without regard to others. Almost all of the Management VPs and above have very little integrity and as it goes up it is worse.

Pros

Salary, PTO, Good Teams. Other than that, nothing. They get involved in community events. If you work out of one of the main office locations, you are lucky. However, sometimes there is a clear divide between office and field.

Cons

Most people stay because they are paying well. The upper management do not get engaged into project issues timely. Reports to corporate are smoke and mirrors and don't tell the truth. Got to drink kool aid and live breathe "We are Suffolk" if you want to progress. If you question upper management, they toss you to the side. New core value "caring" is a joke. Upper management only care about their bonus and not the trades or teams
