Thank you for posting about your experience working at The Chicago Lighthouse. We are always striving to improve our company culture, and this feedback is vital to that work. Though it seems you are a former employee, we would like to make anyone reading this aware that all employees are encouraged to bring these types of concerns and suggestions for improvement directly to our Human Resources department (without fear of reprisal) so that we may address them directly, promptly and effectively.
We are pleased to hear that you found working with Chicago Lighthouse employees to be a positive experience, and we agree that our employees are among the best colleagues one can have. They are kind, caring, funny, insightful, creative, empathetic and possess many other positive attributes.
Regarding your other concerns, in May, we implemented comprehensive management training throughout our organization. As of June 30, all managers completed a series of five courses designed to improve leadership, performance management, goal setting and communication.
We expect these measures to have a positive effect in addressing the issues raised in your review. At the same time, we would like to emphasize that the best course of action for change is to bring them to our attention as they happen so that we may address them promptly and effectively.
