Work life balance, teamwork and collaboration, encourages creativity. Everyone shares same mission: support small businesses and get pros more jobs

Cons

More alignment across teams and updates regarding product, brand strategy, clearer OKRs. I literally have to dig deep for any cons I seriously love this job and culture.

- Smart, collaborative people who are fun to work with and care about each other and not just the number. - High ownership environment with opportunities to build and scale new channels. - Supportive teammates who genuinely care about the work and each other. - Fast-paced environment with strong focus on innovation and testing.

Cons

- Like many tech companies, navigating rapid AI prioritization and shifting focus areas. - Occasional changes in priorities as the company evolves quickly.

Pros

In my experience using Thumbtack.com, I have mixed feelings about their Trust & Safety team. On the positive side, I do think they try to keep the platform safe. When issues are reported, there is a system in place to review complaints, which makes me feel like the company at least cares about protecting users. Another pro is that they have clear rules and policies, so you know there are guidelines that both customers and professionals are supposed to follow. I also like that there is a way to report suspicious activity, because it shows the platform is aware that problems can happen and gives users a way to speak up.

Cons

However, I also noticed some downsides. One con is that decisions made by the Trust & Safety team can feel final, and it is not always clear why a certain action was taken. This can be frustrating when you feel like you did not get a full explanation. Another issue is that getting help from support can sometimes take longer than expected, which makes problems harder to resolve. Lastly, I feel that not every complaint leads to a fair outcome, and sometimes it seems like the decision favors the company instead of the user.
