Looking for a great place to work? Then look elsewhere
Pros
You’ll make some memories. (Not great ones, but memories never the less)
Cons
As can be seen on other honest reviews, Tipalti has a toxic culture that uses fear as a motivator. The management is a joke that has now resorted to promoting some of the worst sales reps to managers. I kid you not, individuals who one could call “sales challenged” are now the leaders of this fine establishment. The leaders can’t seem to hang on to their top sales talent as reps worth anything jump ship. Instead of looking inward at the problem they dismiss it or blame others. Don’t get me started on compensation. You want to be disappointed? Take a look at your first commission statement at Tipalti. They will promise you will crush it and make money, but I promise you will get less than half of your commissions. To make the situation even worse, only about 5-10% of reps hit quota. Seriously, ask around and don’t believe management when they tell you “Tipalti is full of hitters” because it’s really not. You must think that the culture is great, wrong. It’s terrible. My mental health was at an all time low working here and I know numerous people in sales felt the same. People narc on each other, you get in trouble for speaking your mind, and they are not forthcoming with the actual truth. This place makes Lord of the Flies seem like Sandles beach resort, it makes drinking Jim Jones’ kool aide tasty. Avoid this place for your own mental health.
