Pros

I have been a part of UKG since last 10 years. Started as Senior sofware engineer and now Engineering Manager. The journey has been great and growing because of the amazing work culture here and acknowldgement of har work by leadership. UKG gives ample opportunities to be a part of Employee Resource groups, advisory committees, Food committee which thrives the culture of listening to Employee Voices in all respects. World class processes are followed when it comes to handling planned deliverables, remediating incidents, issues and inculcating the growth mindset in employees. Excellent benefits including medical and group insurance, maternity and paternity leaves and other flexi expenses. Cab availability at almost negligible cost even from far off distances. Hybrid Work model. Amazing Work Culture and Work life balance. Not seen a single instance where anyone's leave was rejected. Great involvement from leadership at ground level which boosts confidence in teams.

Cons

Company has started following UE model in engineering, So if you are not willing to be a full stack, then it does not fit you. Rest , I cannot think of any other Cons.

Pros

The company benefits are outstanding.

Cons

New leadership sucks: Chris Todd (CEO replaced Aron Ain) Hugo Sarrazin (EVP, Chief Product and Technology Officer) This company use to view employees as a top priority, and treat employees with compassion and empathy. Recently, all employees under Sarrazin, including those hired fully remote, or hybrid remote, were given 30-days notice before being required to begin working from the office or they would "auto-resign". They set the distance from the office at 50 miles! So, they honestly expect people to drive 100-miles per day. Some people have expressed concern with what would be a 90-minute commute, each way and the financial problems that would impact people who were hired to be fully remote. The official position of UKG was effectively: "So what?" In my opinion, the management of UKG is now focused on taking the company public, and to that end, they will step on as many necks as needed to cash out. My advice, don't be suckered by the previous reputation of Ultimate Software, Kronos, of the UKG. They are royally screwing over employees and Chris Todd actually said "We know that for some people there will be a financial impact..." FULL STOP.
