Thank you for your years with Uniphore and for this feedback. A strong engineering team is only as valuable as the outcomes it creates for customers — we know that, and we're committed to closing the gap between what we build and what customers experience after delivery. That means better product readiness, stronger implementation support, and continued investment in the platform. We appreciate your candor and wish you the best.

Pros

The team culture was good, your leaders are supportive(depending on the team) and you got to learn a lot.. They had a bunch of great talent and enterprising individuals.. Learning was good, it was going good but then it started falling apart.

Cons

The company had great talent and enterprising individuals who got sidelined or were not valued so they left.. Or some of them they were laid off because they didn't have connects, or didn't indulge in politics and minded their work.. The reason for company's inevitable doom is the freeloaders it has in every department who either basically pawn off their work to junior folks or barely work during office hours. And not valuing hardworking individuals but promoting folks who believe in fooling the Senior leadership team with imaginary performance streaks. There are literally people in this company who are here for years but nobody knows what exactly they do and they are here because they know somebody higher up. The product is a major letdown, causing all the mess in the company.. Most importantly they should do is fire most of the folks in the sales teams, probably the only set of individuals who are not performing but still not laid off and responsible for the most part of toxic behaviour in the company.. They would barely come on customer calls after a sale is done(mostly coz they can't face them) and were missing also when it came to collections.. It all somehow became delivery team's responsibility to manage the mess created by them and the false promises made by them. The company is not for hardworking individuals if you are, staying away is wise, coz they are the most exploited and overworked people here.. The only people who would benefit after everything settles is a certain set of people who might have not performed so well but God knows for what reasons will reap benefits..

Pros

Executives strong arm employees to leave positive reviews on this site.

Cons

Organization run like a 20 person start up. No vision, no strategy, hire and fire environment, frequent layoffs, pushing the envelope until the next funding round comes in then blowing through those funds without any consideration. Teams are confused, frustrated and disorganized. Leaders pat themselves on the back and talk about how great they are, how great the sales and revenues are (they aren't, and most employees are fully aware that there are rock bottom revenues) and all the while, the leaders plan their bonuses, raises and how to hire more people who will say "yes". If you are looking for a new job, read the reviews - not just the HR and marketing ones that were required by leaders. Meanwhile, people are leaving in record numbers and they were good - no matter how much you say they "were not the right person" or "the company outgrew them" or "it is fine that they left" - one day you will be in the same position - after you have leeched the last dollar from investors.
