Pros

There's no pros to this company at all. Worst decision of my life accepting a job here!

Cons

Literally the worst company I've ever worked for. If you are having any reservations, stay far away. Office politics are horrible! The only way to advance or make decent money in the company is if your related to someone on the senior management. Everyone's family members just receive raises, promotions, for legitimately no reason besides the fact they are related! The culture is horrible-micro-managed all day, everyday. It's horrible! The most unprofessional, immoral, unethical company I've ever worked for. If I could rate everything 0 stars I would! Stay away! Stay far far far far away!!!!

Pros

Car Sales/Automotive Business is fun in general. Community Involvement is good here- lots of volunteering available (Most fun opportunities are offered to Corp staff first). The majority of the staff in stores is good.

Cons

Where to start?! Loyalty means nothing- MANY long term employees are gone. COO sees ZERO value in almost every employee and considers them “weak” and replaceable. Nobody is qualified for their job, and easily “replaced but trained monkeys”. COO wants to constantly try new things, which is fine... but tries new things every other week, changes his mind, and has shiny object syndrome. HR department and Corp staff is getting bigger than most of the staff at the stores, and doesn’t really understand the business. One day there’s a BDC, next day there are DSA’s in the store, the day after that sales people are back to taking leads, then back to BDC, then DSA’s are let go, then there’s a “war” room. Who knows what will happen next and how long it will go?! Finance Center is taken out of store, then put back in. Long term finance center personnel fired for illegitimate reasons. Sales Personnel is responsible for WAY too much and does not get paid for it- Finance Managers do not exist and the only benefit is for Corp (saving high salaries). Doesn’t actually save customers time by not having finance managers- just saves the business money. Customers are still spending hours buying a car. I can’t even count how many directors and high up corporate employees that have come and go in the last 3-5 years. People are let go faster than fries at McDonald’s get cold- No joke. Sad really. Walser was a really good place to work for a long time.
