Pros

Only pro was decent salary, I am stretching that but the minimum words is twenty so I am typing something.

Cons

Job description given in interview was not based in reality of what job actually was. No work-life balance. Assigned duties way over 40hrs a week, and if you refuse to never see your friends or family by working yourself to death then you are treated badly. No transparency in department management, it was like working for Regina George, if you were not one of the cool kids forget advancement. CYA was the only consisent policy in action. Department directors and managers that will sell anyone out to make a name for themselves.

Pros

Excellent Leadership from the new General Manager. He's really working to change the culture from the previous failed administration. There are programs in place that are focused on continuous improvement and making the company better all-around.

Cons

The plant is located in the middle of nowhere. Many of the employees end up driving from nearby large cities.

Pros

Leadership largely leaves you alone because they have no clue how to provide direction. So, there's a lot of autonomy. If you are good at flying under the radar, not demanding too much, you can stay here forever and make a decent salary. It's paper and packaging. No one is going to lose their life over it.

Cons

The vitriol that comes from the leadership team is sometimes hard to take. Arrogant, condescending, a**holes. No advancement. No expectation of professionalism. Bonuses skewed to those in power.
