Pros

The company serves markets that are interesting to work in even though they sound like they wouldn't be. Some bright people (and others not so bright). They have a dominant market position (but are vulnerable due to arrogance and under-skilled management). The good sales people get better jobs from their eRepublic tech company clients. Your happiest day working here will be the day you leave.

Cons

This place is bizarre! Unusual and uncomfortable work environment with a strong undercurrent of Scientology that is never discussed beyond hushed voices. Upper management is made up only of Scientologists (watch Leah Remini's show before accepting a job here). Many other Scientologists among the rand and file. None of top management seem to have any work history other than their many many years at eRepublic. and their training is straight out of L Ron Hubbard. CEO is more involved in his venture investments than operation of the company. President loves being in the spotlight and speaking at events but contributes little otherwise (though she'll tell you she single-handedly started every venture the company has ever run. Company over-promises and under-delivers to customers, so be prepared to deal with sticky situations. Significant turnover in key positions. No raises. Pay is mediocre at best. Benefits are the absolute minimum they feel they can get away with. Plan on working through Wednesday on Thanksgiving week and the week between Christmas and New Years (even though Sr Management won't be).

If you are sick or injured, expect the Scientologists to question you about "crimes you have committed" that caused the injury or illness

Pros

1. Straightforward interview process 2. Easy to get your foot in the door for resume building opportunities

Cons

1. Lack of communication: There was minimal communication between team members and management, leading to misunderstandings and delays in project completion. 2. Inadequate support: Management provided insufficient guidance and resources, making it difficult for employees to perform their tasks efficiently and effectively. 3. High stress environment: Deadlines were often unrealistic, resulting in high stress levels among employees and frequent late hours. 4. Favoritism: There was a clear display of favoritism within the company, with some employees receiving preferential treatment while others were overlooked for promotions or recognition. 5. Poor work-life balance: The expectation to work long hours and be available outside of regular working hours made it challenging to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
