In the midst of the COVID-19 crisis Aimbridge readily adapted and led the charge toward an even better future state. Listed below are just a few of the ways we actively worked to make a difference throughout the most challenging period in our industry’s history. • Contributed to the creation of AHLA’s ‘StaySafe’ industry-wide cleaning and sanitation standards. • Formed ‘Aimbridge Aid Foundation,’ a 501c3 charity that is solely focused on supporting our associates in need and the communities we are serving, during the pandemic and beyond. • Keeping our furloughed and laid off staff engaged through weekly text and email communication that includes photos, updates, company information and educational and emergency resources in geographic areas. • Holding daily leadership meetings regarding our plans for re-opening hotels and bringing people back to work. • Supporting property level activities focused on displaced associates and those in need in the community. WLEAD at Aimbridge! Aimbridge Hospitality is a proud champion of inclusion in the Hospitality industry. Women make up the majority of the workforce in our industry, but are severely underrepresented in senior leadership roles, an issue seen in many other industries across the globe. Aimbridge Hospitality’s WLEAD Program (Women’s Leadership Empowerment and Development) was established to help women at Aimbridge communicate and achieve their professional career goals, network within the industry, grow their personal and professional skills, engage in community service opportunities. Our four key areas of focus are Development, Outreach, Mentorship and Communications.
