2023 MILITARY FRIENDLY® GOLD‑EMPLOYER For the past four years, Airgas has been recognized by Military Friendly for our commitment, effort and success in creating sustainable and meaningful benefits for the military community. Airgas earned a Gold-level designation in 2023, following four consecutive years with Silver‑level recognition.
Airgas, headquartered in Radnor, recently worked with the Federal Emergency Management Agency to donate nearly $2 million of personal protective equipment to local emergency preparedness and disaster response organizations across the country.
We’re so grateful to the Airgas associates who bring a broad range of talents to work each day. Our associates wear many hats - sales associates, drivers, cylinder fillers, plant operators, distribution center workers, eCommerce and logistics specialists, welding, safety and technical experts - and collaborate each day to serve our customers safely and reliably. We thank each of our associates on Employee Appreciation Day and everyday for their hard work and commitment. #AirgasAllstars
Airgas is proud to support associate and SSG Joe Polo, an industrial gas filler at our Lansing, Michigan Fill Plant who has been with Airgas since 2014. SSG Polo has served in the National Guard for 20 years and has been deployed twice overseas. He was recently activated along with a few other soldiers from his unit with the Michigan Army National Guard to help the State of Michigan distribute COVID-19 vaccinations through March. We thank SSG Polo and all active duty service men and women for their commitment to our country. SSG Polo (left) is photographed alongside Jacob Gilroy, Area Operations Manager for Airgas North Division prior to his deployment.
