America First Credit Union is proud to provide The Greater Good Project, which is an employee volunteer program that focuses on providing betterment in the communities around us. We have been honored to volunteer in our communities this past week, with the intent on community beautification.
This past week a group of AFCU employees spent the day volunteering with Utah Youth Village and had the opportunity to plant trees and spread rocks at their newest location. Utah Youth Village is one of Utah’s largest, most-respected charities serving thousands of individuals a year in therapeutic foster homes, in-home services, a fully-accredited therapeutic boarding school, mentoring, and intensive online parenting resources. An integral part of our mission at America First Credit Union is enhancing and improving the communities in which we have a presence and we are thrilled to be part of the Utah Youth Village story!
The America First Charitable Foundation gave away $500 grants to 10 outstanding teachers! These teachers have been nominated for the grant by using our free FUNDamentals financial literacy program in their classrooms.

Last December we partnered with various school districts (pictured: Weber School District and Davis School District) to donate a match to each initial new account deposit. We are so excited to be helping our new young members grow their savings accounts and build a financial understanding.
