#AsanaVoices Meet David Jackson, Enterprise Sales leader and committee member & ally for our AsanaWomen Employee Resource Group. DJ first joined the company as an Enterprise Account Executive and has grown into a leadership role focused on building out our Strategic Enterprise Sales team. "I’ve experienced a lot of development in my two years at Asana, and have been lucky enough to be in situations that have been career-defining moments for me. In previous roles, I’ve been really sales focused. Now, I’m able to work on the strategic side of things, focused on building a foundation for the next generation of Asana’s growth. My growth journey is constant, and I’m learning to really work as a cross-functional leader across the different teams that I partner with—both as an individual contributor and a leader."

#AsanaVoices Meet Jocey Karlan in San Francisco on our Product Management team. Jocey first joined the company as an individual contributor on our First Experience Team. Nearly three years later, she now oversees a team of six product managers focused on new user adoption—and, she's a new mom! "My view of what management means is a lot more robust now. There's this value that Asana has around rejecting false trade-offs, and I think I used to have a trade-off in my head that I either get to do product or I get to be a people manager. I think what Asana has allowed me to see is that the best managers are close enough to the work that they are still doing deep product thinking with their teams. They're also coaching and growing people at the same time through that lens."
Get to know the diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and career journeys of our global team in our new series, Asana Voices!🗣️ Each feature spotlights a talented #teamasana member, their unique story of growth and impact, and how they get there #withasana. First up, meet Monique Sudirgo in San Francisco on our Talent Acquisition team! In her nearly 3 years at Asana, Monique's journey has led her from recruiting for Engineering leadership roles, to building out the G&A recruiting function from scratch and leading a team. "The thing that has kept me here is Asana’s investment in its employees. We do that through different programs like our (healthy) onsite culinary program, executive coaches, and meditation rooms in the office. But more importantly, Asana invests in hiring roles on the People team that are directly tied to the employee experience. Being part of the hiring process for these types of roles has made me feel really connected to our mindfulness and intention behind sustaining and scaling our culture." #AsanaVoices
