Behind every Barge Community Fund grant, there's an impact. The fund supports causes close to our hearts, and on this Veterans Day weekend, we’d like to spotlight one of our 2023 Community Fund recipients, Operation Ramp It Up. Nominated by employee @Aaron McGuire, Operation Ramp It Up provides free wheelchair ramps to veterans, their families, or anyone with mobility issues. Donations cover the cost of the ramp and the licensed contractor. This gift grants freedom, accessibility and independence. McGuire, who sits on the organization’s board, provides design renderings to help in the construction of ramps. We are grateful for the service and sacrifice of our veterans!
