On August 26th, the Chengdu, China team hosted the 2022 Benchmark & EFC EHS and Sustainability Summit in Chengdu. More than 60 attendees joined in person to share their insights to a wide range of topics, including Compliance & Safety Management, Sustainability, ESG Management & Digitalization and more! Thank you to everyone who could join us and we are looking forward to the next Sustainability Summit!
Thanks to our Sustainability Team Member Network, we are taking a bigger initiative to provide a more sustainable breakroom! The Cincinnati, Ohio office now has a "bean to cup" coffee machine that grinds the beans, which can later be used to fertile gardens at home and does not require coffee filters! We also have Bruetta tea with filtered lids, which can be used for 9-10 cups of tea and recyclable tea cups that can be reused 4 times! We also implemented a farmers market with fresh produce from a local farm. We are excited to continue to implement more sustainable options for our team both in-office and at home!
Last week, team members in the Cincinnati, Ohio office participated in a Dunk Tank Challenge! The Benchmark team raised over $1,890 for the Humane Society & Infinite Chance. Thank you to everyone who participated in this event!

Last week, team members in India participated in an activity to celebrate World Environment Day! This day brings focus on conservation, to raise awareness about environmental conditions and to encourage people globally to take positive environmental actions to help create a better future. This year, team members planted trees at a local school. We are excited to continue to host different events to help us live out our ESG mission!
This past month, our Shanghai office reopened! Team members have held in-office events by group to celebrate being in-person again. We are excited to continue both virtual and in-person collaboration throughout all Benchmark locations!
