This past weekend, our Respect for Diversity Team Member Network organized for Benchmark team members to walk in the Cincinnati Pride parade! Our team had the opportunity to purchase a pride t-shirt and/or walk in the parade, which took place in downtown Cincinnati. We are so happy that we were able to be a part of this event and look forward to walking in the parade next year!
Our corporate team is initiating a different activity every other Wednesday to focus on team members' mental wellbeing! This past Wednesday, our team used lunch to paint something from nature. We are excited to take part in ensuring our team members are happy, healthy, and productive!
Our Mexico HR team recently conducted a survey to assess the work environment at Benchmark with 92% participation! According to the results, team members ranked us to be: 96% in Ethics, 95% in Inclusion, 93% in Leadership and 91% in Engagement and Teamwork overall, among other dimensions. The next steps the HR team took last week was to host workshops with different departments to share the results with team members. These workshops promoted teamwork, communication, and collaboration to come up with fabulous ideas & action plans to drive our continuous improvement and positive change to strengthen our engagement striving towards a comprehensive & safe work environment!
"New Hire Week" took place in the Aguascalientes office from June 6th to June 10th. We invited team members who joined Benchmark from 4Q 2021 until now. They had the opportunity to have in person trainings/meetings with their teams and the Mexico leaders of each Organization. It was a great opportunity to meet other team members in person! We also had a few events after work which allowed them to have more informal conversations. Leaders from the Cincinnati office were also a part of that week’s in person activities. It was a very productive week for everyone and we received great feedback from the team!
At our Bangalore GL, we're initiating a fun Thursday tradition filled with games and activities for our team members called, "Thank God it's Thursday"! This is a time where team members have the chance to get to know each other better. We are excited to start this new weekly activity to build rapport within our Benchmark team!

This month is dedicated to the uplifting of LGBTQIA+ voices, culture and as a celebration of LGBTQIA+ rights. For the community, Pride is part celebration of the progress that has been made and part political activism. Pride month is often marked with Pride celebrations, which often include parades, as well as live theatre, drag performances, concerts, and festivals. We are happy to announce that members of our global team will be participating in their local pride events and the Cincinnati team is joining together to walk in the Cincinnati Pride Parade on Saturday, June 25th!
Memorial Day is a holiday that commemorates American military personnel who have died in war. For decades, Memorial Day continued to be observed on May 30th, but in 1968, Congress passed the Uniform Monday Holiday Act. This established Memorial Day as the last Monday in May in order to create a three-day weekend for federal employees. We encourage everyone to take part in an activity to pay your respects on Memorial Day. Some activities include attending a Memorial Day event, placing a flag for a hero, volunteering with a local veteran's organization, or sending a card or care package to soldiers. We wish all a safe Memorial Day!
This month, Benchmark ESG India inaugurated its all-new office in Bengaluru, India with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by CEO & Founder R Mukund.
