Happy Black History Month! This month is a time to honor the contributions and legacy of African Americans across U.S. history and society. The 2022 theme is “Black Health and Wellness”, which explores the legacy of not only Black scholars and medical practitioners in Western medicine, but also other ways of knowing. On February 16th, we are excited to welcome back Dr. Eric Jackson who is a History professor at Northern Kentucky University. Dr. Jackson will be hosting a session to speak with our team on the importance of Black History Month.
Our Cincinnati team recently held a New Hire Week to welcome those who recently joined the team! Remote and local team members came together in our Cincinnati office to meet their teams, collaborate in meetings, and enjoy a few events after work. As our team continues to grow, we cherish moments of face-to-face collaboration like these!
Keeping our year end challenge moving ahead at full speed, team members at the Cincinnati Office participated in the Benchmark Digital 5K: Race to the Finish, supporting our philanthropic partner Infinite Chance. Team members who did not participate in the race spent time writing thoughtful handwritten holiday cards to the children of Hogar Miguel Magone (home to about 100 abandoned or neglected children in Guatemala). A big thank you to all participants for making this event fun and memorable!
In honor of Veterans Day, the Benchmark Team shared photos of their friends and loved ones who have served or are currently serving in the United States Military. A donation was made to the nonprofit Angry Vet Gaming on Benchmark’s behalf for every photo shared! Thank you to all of our nation’s veterans for their commitment to our country and their service and sacrifice.
