Weโve wrapped up another terrific Professional Development Day! Teachers at all of our schools honed their skills and learned exciting new ways to educate and inspire our students. Focusing on Strong Bonds and Strong Teachers, the comprehensive training emphasized relationship building, as well as practical techniques to empower our teachers to become more resilient in the classroom.

Weโre so proud of our La Petite Academy and Childtime schools in SE Virginia and the Chesapeake area! Students, staff and school families from nine locations did an amazing job teaming up to collect funds and nonperishable food items to support the 2019 Mayflower Marathon Food Drive. Our schools donated 1,700+ lbs. of food to assist 600 local families in need. Thanks to everyone who participated and supported our schools to help us surpass our goal. In the past 7 years, our contributions have grown from 4,000 food items to this yearโs 23,108 items. Wow!
