Students, families and staff at Childtime and La Petite Academy schools in Chesapeake and Southeast Virginia worked with several charitable organizations to make the season brighter for local families in need. Our team donated: 3,000 lbs. of food and personal care products for the Hampton Roads Food Bank; dozens of coats, hats, gloves and boots to For Kids in Norfolk; personal care items for a local shelter and The Shoebox Project; and more than 1,000 lbs. of food for the Virginia Peninsula Food Bank. Way to go!
Throughout the holidays, our schools give back, pay it forward and share the joy of the season. Our La Petite Academy and Childtime school directors recently volunteered at the St. Louis Crisis Nursery to sort and organize thousands of toys for local children in need. The gifts were collected by our school families and throughout the community as part of the nursery’s “Holiday Hearts” program.
Leaders from our Childtime, Children’s Courtyard, Tutor Time and La Petite Academy schools in DuPage & Kane County, IL, are helping brighten the holidays for local children. This week, the team organized and wrapped gifts that have been donated to The Humanitarian Service Project, which provides assistance to 2,000 underserved families.
