Last week, Gavin O’Connor, our Chief Administrative Officer, shared what commitment meant to him, how to leverage partnerships, how to approach difficult conversations, and the emphasized the importance of personal development, all of which can support in making meaningful impacts in the workplace! Please join us in congratulating Gavin O’Connor on his new role as Chief Administrative Officer! Gavin has been with European Wax Center for 3 years serving as our Chief Legal Officer, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Corporate Secretary. In addition to his time with EWC, he brings over 25+ years of legal experience, 9+ years of those years being with major retailor brands such as GNC and American Eagle Outfitters. In Gavin’s new role he will assume responsibility for the Company’s Supply Chain and Technology functions, in addition to his current responsibilities of Legal, Talent, ESG and risk management. Today marks the start of an exciting new chapter for European Wax Center as we welcome David Willis as our new Chief Executive Officer. With almost three decades of experience, we are delighted to have David leading us forward as we strive to live our values and ensure that our "says" consistently match our "do's." A note from CEO David Willis: When I started working at EWC 9 years ago, I felt something special for the first time in my professional career. It was tough to describe, but time spent within EWC was invigorating, authentic, and infectious. I’m honored to be part of such a unique organization. For nearly 20 years, millions of guests have come to EWC to strut out with unapologetic confidence. This simple, yet compelling mission is how we revolutionized and professionalized a waxing experience and created a category that didn’t exist before. The ribbon cutting with the Chamber of Commerce was hosted by local radio DJ Kelly K. In addition, Actress, Country Singer, Podcaster and Author Jana Kramer attended the event to meet and greet guests! The community in Louisville came out to show their support, including a number of local businesses who set up tables, offering special discounts, merchandise and services. A huge thank you to all our Franchisees, Associates, Loyal Guests, and everyone that contributed to this great accomplishment. We are excited to expand our footprint nationwide to 3,000 centers and the significant white space we still have for development!
