Last week, we got together as a team for our last Town Hall event of 2023! We discussed business updates, learned more about our franchise business, and shared European Wax Center’s 2023 accomplishments! Some of which included earning the 2023 Great Places to Work award, ranking #32 in Entrepreneur’s 2023 Franchise 500, opening our 1,000th location, and releasing our first ESG report – just to name a few! And of course, we couldn’t get together without having FUN! We shared lots of laughs voting for our ugly sweater contest winner, singing along to karaoke, and playing arcade games. Thank you to our Fun Committee for all their hard work throughout the year and for the amazing job they did closing us out for 2023!

At European Wax Center, our goal is to spread awareness about different cultures and traditions that reflect the diversity in our Corporate Team. To do this, our DE&I Council provides regular learning sessions for our corporate associates to increase awareness and understanding of different cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives. Last week, we had a special guest join our weekly Corporate Team meeting, Nimisha Patel, owner of Creative Crafty Mom. Nimisha shared about the history, purpose, and traditions of Diwali, and how she inspires others to celebrate through her craft.

We are excited to share that we successfully raised over $47,000 during Domestic Violence Awareness Month to support the mission of the National Domestic Violence Hotline to keep hope on the line! This incredible achievement is part of EWC's philanthropic program, Pathways to Success, which aims to help individuals rebuild from the ground up and unlock new opportunities. We are proud to contribute to such an important cause and extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported this initiative to make a difference in the lives of survivors.
