Administrator Pete Gaynor and other FEMA senior leaders extend a special message of appreciation to the families and friends of our employees. Thank you for your continuous support that allows us to help fellow Americans in time of need! It's because of you that #WeAreFEMA!
Meet Monica! Monica works in Response Division at our FEMA Region 9 office. Following a disaster, she provides immediate assistance to states, tribes and territories by working with our partners, communicating current needs and requesting support for the federal government's response. "It's exciting to think how a seemingly routine conversation in FEMA can have such a positive effect on the lives of an individual or community. Sometimes the small things have the greatest impact." #WeAreFEMA
Meet Dale! She’s the Director of Grants Management in our Region 2 office. Her team supports our state, local, tribal and territorial partners to manage awards to reduce disaster risks. She finds it particularly rewarding to see how these funds help transform communities. Dale derives great satisfaction from the collaborative aspect of her work. “I’m happiest when other FEMA programs and the Grants Division work together to achieve common goals for managing Region 2’s vast portfolio of grants. It helps survivors.” #WeAreFEMA
