Meet Kate! She works in Region 1 as a Disability Integration Specialist and is currently deployed in response to the COVID-19 efforts. She helps to ensure all services are accessible and equitable for people with disabilities. “As we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, it is a crucial reminder of our obligation to meet the requirements of this significant legislation, which affords people with disabilities legal protection from discrimination. I am honored to serve alongside my FEMA colleagues as well as our state and federal partners and grateful for the opportunity to serve our most vulnerable populations to help everyone has equal access to COVID-19 programs and no one is left behind.” #IAMFEMA
