We are proud to share that Full Sail University’s CIO, Isis Jones, and VP of IMT, Mark Gilbert, have both been named “Bronze Globee® Award Winners” at the 16th Annual 2021 IT World Awards. They’ve earned this recognition for their ability to “use technology to adjust to the evolving world.” The IT World Awards is a global annual awards program that honors achievements in every facet of the information technology industry.
It’s no surprise that Full Sail grads helped record, mix, and master multiple projects. All in all, 19 graduates were credited on 39 nominated projects in 22 categories. Nine graduates also took home their own Latin Grammy statues for their work on nine winning projects in nine categories.
22-year-old Tal Anderson, a 2018 Full Sail graduate from the Film Bachelor of Science degree program, was featured in a recent Forbes article where she credits Full Sail for immersing her in knowledge about the film industry. As Sid in the Netflix series, Atypical, Anderson, who grew up with autism, is bringing representation to the silver screen for those with disabilities.
The Orlando Sentinel has recognized our own Brittney Carter, as one of their Top 200 People on the Move. Brittney was promoted to esports content and event producer and is making an impact in the esport world.
Animation Career Review is an online resource that helps aspiring animators find their dream school, and Full Sail ranked first in the site's 2021 Best Animation Bachelor of Science Program rankings. Full Sail also ranked #11 overall in 2021 Top 50 Animation Schools.
