We were excited to join the NABWIC team again on Nov. 9 for their Water Industry Day and Billion Dollar Luncheon, where we heard from presenting and participating agencies, including DC Water, HRSD, Miami-Dade County, JEA, Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department, and the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department. 💧 In a recent edition of the NABWIC Blog Talk Radio Show, Luis discussed the importance of Gannett Fleming’s partnership with the organization and the value of the Water Industry Day and Billion Dollar Luncheon. As the newly elected vice president of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Greater Philadelphia Chapter (SHPE GPC), Stephanie shared why she thinks it's important for Latino and Hispanic people to pursue STEM careers. 🔬⚙📐➗ "As a young Hispanic woman, I believe we need to represent the people using STEM products and services," she said. "Latinos and other underrepresented groups also provide different experiences and ways of thinking and solving problems."
