Granite’s Jeans Day helped raise over $6,000 for our friends at Angels in America, a non-profit providing help in the community by volunteering with the public and assisting with financial support. Each day they administer hope, encouragement, and assistance to those in need.
Here at Granite, we dress to impress and take a themed party very seriously! On Sunday, June 10th we were honored to be a sponsor at the 2018 Shine Under The Stars Gala. The Gala was hosted by, This Star Won't Go Out, an organization that helps New England families of children struggling with cancer. The event raised funds to fight against childhood cancer.
On June 4th, 2018 Granite Telecommunications celebrated our 16th birthday! Our employees enjoyed breakfast in the morning followed by sweet treats in the afternoon. 16 years ago, Granite Telecommunications started off with 7 employees and $0 in revenue. Today, 16 years later, we can proudly announce that we have 2,000 employees and $1.4 Billion in revenue! It truly is a #HappyBirthday for us!

As 2017 comes to a close, we wanted to look back at our amazing Miami Awards Trip that took place back in October! We invited 223 teammates for a weekend getaway to Miami, Florida at the Loews Hotel. The weekend included a welcome dinner outside by the pool and an award ceremony with dinner the following night! We are so proud of our employees and all the hard work they put into this company, now on to bigger and better things in 2018!
Our Rhode Island team was very busy this holiday season giving back to their local community! They were able to donated over 50 toys to Toys For Tots and held a holiday event to raise funds for the Comprehensive Community Action Program. Our teammates donated $5 or an unwrapped gift and were able to purchase presents for 11 children!

Our teammates in Atlanta participated in Meals on Wheels America through Open Hand Atlanta this past weekend! Open Hand Atlanta strives to improve the lives of Georgians in need, one meal at a time! Our teammates volunteered their time and spent the day delivering food to those in need within their local community!
Teammates in our Rhode Island office donated over 60 coats and 4 bags filled with winter essentials..hats, gloves, scarves, boots, pants, shirts, socks and more! The winter essentials that our team collected were donated to the homeless in Providence, RI. Our teammates set up a shop outside of a local Church that holds breakfast every Sunday morning for the Homeless, so that they could gather the needed items for the winter on their way out.
For the year of 2017 Granite Telecommunications was presented with the Outstanding Partner Award from Kennesaw State University The Center for Professional Selling. Out of 15 Corporate Partners, the students found Granite to be the most valuable. Our teammates have committed themselves to educating and mentoring the professional sales students at Kennesaw State. We are so lucky to have the relationship that we do with the Kennesaw State University, the Professional Selling Program and we are honored to accept the Outstanding Partner Award!
