Over the weekend, Granite participated in giving back to our local communities in more way than one. As a company, we donated money, volunteered our time and participated in community service events. On Friday 9/15 our employees were able to participate in Jeans Day and raised $5,183 which was donated to The Boston Educational Development Fund, a K-12 education foundation and fiscal partner of Boston Public Schools! In Atlanta on Saturday 9/16 the Atlanta Office employees, families and friends participated in a 5k for Back On My Feet Atlanta, a Nonprofit Organization dedicated to combating homelessness. In Plymouth on Saturday 9/16 employees from our HQ in Quincy spent the day getting their hands dirty at Three Harts Farm Veterans Growing Opportunities. Spotlight: STEVE IANNACONE Steve Iannacone was one of the very first Premier Representatives at Granite who helped pioneer the foundational processes that the department uses today. Steve started at Granite in 2003 when Granite moved across the street from its original location, above a bridal shop. Prior to starting at Granite he worked for the Boston Red Sox in Group Sales and Marketing. He is a graduate of Northeastern University with a degree in Marketing and believes that relationship building is central to the role of the Premier team.
