H&R Block and Nextdoor announced the selection of 10 additional community-led projects that help neighbors connect. This year’s projects expand the partnership’s impact to 20 states touching 2.3 million more residents, based on city population in the selected communities. Each will help lead H&R Block toward serving and helping more people in new ways — including offering new financial and mobile banking products, protecting the data transacted by the company, and communicating its transformation progress to shareholders and investors.
We’re challenging each of our nearly 80,000 associates to volunteer three hours per year in their local communities, to help Make Every Block Better – until we’ve reached our goal of 1 million hours by 2025. Last week, we celebrated National Volunteer Week by highlighting associates like Zack Beyer, who’s currently donated 103 hours among various non-profits throughout Kansas City.
