Helix Nevada held its first of three Residential Roper training classes this past week in conjunction with STEM 101 (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) which identifies the needs of people for career advancement. The next training classes are scheduled for the weeks of April 16th and May 21st.

The Ascaya Clubhouse is a $25 million luxury community clubhouse located on the McCullough Range mountainside in Henderson, NV. Last week, ABC held its annual National Craft Championships in Long Beach, CA. Our very own Tyler Hachmann and Francisco Chavez participated in the two-day competition and did great. Francisco even finished in 2nd place in the Electrical: Residential/Commercial category! Congratulations on your accomplishments and dedication to your craft. We're proud to have you on #TeamHelix!
Congratulations to our recent Las Vegas and Reno STP graduates! STP (Supervisory Training Program) is an invite only class for Helix employees that demonstrate leadership potential. STP's primary focus is the development and training of job site superintendents. The course consists of approximately 64 hours of training on topics such as pre-construction, pre-planning, coaching and mentoring, Prefab, Job site set-up, Tracking production, document compliance, human resources and safety.
On Saturday, #TeamHelix joined hundreds of others at the Race for Autism Superhero run/walk at Balboa Park. The race raised nearly $140K, with 100% of the funds going towards local San Diego autism programs, services, outreach efforts, parent support and educational initiatives. Thank you to our Helix Superheroes for raising awareness for autism and fundraising for a great cause!
Recently, Helix Nevada's projects Ascaya Clubhouse, Henderson Freeway Crossing and Credit One Bank Corporate Headquarters & Campus won honor awards at the 21st Annual NAIOP Spotlight Awards.
