At Helix Electric, we invest in our teammates. Helix holds a weekly bilingual Journeyman Electrician Exam Prep Class for #TeamHelix employees. Helix Electric was proud to join forces with the local construction community in conjunction with the American Cancer Society in support of the fight against Pediatric Childhood Cancer. This carnival-like atmosphere, where young pediatric cancer patients of all ages, came out with their families and enjoyed a fun-filled day of games, face painting, prizes, entertainment, an appearance from Master Illusionist Criss Angel and construction equipment! Children have long been fascinated with large, heavy-duty construction equipment and this was their chance to get up close and operate some of these machines with the help of some local construction professionals. They were able to operate a bulldozer, a crane and even go up in a scissor-lift! The funds from the sponsorship of this event will help fund research and provide much needed education and services to individuals with cancer.
