Homes.com President, David Mele, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Erin Ruane, and Joe Sesso, Executive Director of Sales Marketing and national speaker for Homes.com, have been selected for RISMedia’s Newsmakers Award, announced this month. This annual award recognizes the top 300 real estate professionals across the nation for their various contributions to industry excellence and innovation. This is Mele’s third consecutive year, and Ruane’s second, receiving this prestigious honor. Responding to the scrutiny surrounding racial inequality and social injustice in 2020, Dave led the charge to enrich Homes.com’s existing commitments to diversity with dedicated initiatives focused on action and education. For this effort, he was named a 2021 RISMedia Influencer. For her spearheading of employee transitions to remote work through the #WorkFromHomes program, Erin was honored as an “Inspiration,” a recognition of “the big-hearted and the brave.”
Here's what one of our team members recently had to say about working for Homes.com during the pandemic: As 2020 comes to close soon and amidst all the craziness this year has brought us, I was reminded of something as I passed by the Home Office building: 1. Life hasn’t been normal, but what has been normal is Homes.com’s commitment to our own lives and making sure we are okay. That never changed. 2. We have a job. Which is more than a lot of people can say right now. Homes.com is the reason for that. 3. Because of that job, we have a chance at living out Homes.com’s principles every day with every sales call we make, every customer we talk to, every piece of code we write, and in everything we do. I’m making my 2021 challenge this: are we doing as much for the people we contact or for the company as the company does for us? Merry Christmas Everyone :-)

Coronavirus closures forced us to quickly adapt to remote operations. But, we didn't just stop there. We implemented an entire program to empower, inform and assist our employees with whatever they needed for a smooth transition to a "new normal."
Even during a pandemic, we celebrate our wins. Here are some of our employees reading positive reviews from our clients!
