It’s #WorldBeeDay! Invesco offices around the globe are proud to take action to protect biodiversity and the pollinators that play a critical role in our environment. Working with local partners, we sponsor hives at Piedmont Park near our global headquarters in Atlanta, near our offices in Melbourne and Toronto, and on the grounds of our Henley-on-Thames office. In addition to helping maintain the apiary in Atlanta, our employees are able to purchase honey from the hives, with proceeds benefiting local charities.
At Invesco, we recognize the significance of International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia. We celebrate the advancements of LGBTQIA+ rights while recognizing there is more progress to be made. We are committed to continuing to foster inclusion throughout our firm to ensure our LGBTQIA+ colleagues always feel supported and poised for professional growth.
It's Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and Invesco's Pan-Asian Professionals Network (IPAN) has a robust lineup of events focused on celebrating Pan-Asian culture. Our APIHM theme this year is centered on "Culture, Community, and Connection." We invite all employees to join us for events and activities that celebrate the traditions and customs of the community.

In honor of #WomensHistoryMonth, we'll be spotlighting members of the Invesco Women's Network (IWN). Keeping true to this year's theme, members are highlighting moments where they've advocated for diversity and inclusion throughout their professional career. Meet Rhonda Dixon-Gunner! Based in Houston, she's currently the Global Head of Transfer Agency, and has been an IWN member for 14 years! "I’ve seen firsthand the impact of being asked to provide perspective on a topic, benefiting the team even when that view might have differed from that of others. Through my involvement with the Invesco Women’s Network over the past 14 years, I’ve had the opportunity to pay forward an enhanced version of that insight – to use your voice, whether asked or not. Being able to help accelerate the growth of women at Invesco is incredibly rewarding, and I hope my 3 granddaughters (and 2 grandsons) benefit from my experiences as well."
We're excited to welcome Alan Smith to Invesco as Chief Human Resources Officer! Reporting to President and CEO Andrew Schlossberg, Alan will be a senior managing director and will serve on the firm's Executive Leadership Team when he joins on March 11. We look forward to Alan's leadership as we continue to strengthen our culture, further our efforts to deliver great outcomes to clients, and make Invesco an even more fulfilling place to work.
Andrew Schlossberg continued his Invesco Ltd. journey as President and CEO on July 1, 2023. "As I step into this new role, I’ll remain focused on delivering the best possible experience for our clients, employees, and shareholders," he says. "I’m confident that our strong foundation will enable us to create better outcomes for clients, innovate ahead of changes in our industry and further enhance our business." "On behalf of all Invesco employees, thank you, Marty Flanagan, for your relentless focus on meeting client needs while forming a trusted investment organization. Over the course of your 18-year tenure, you've helped create an inclusive and innovative culture that transformed Invesco’s global leadership position. I couldn’t be more excited to build on his enduring impact and lead the firm into the future."
