Part of Project Puthri by Avtar Human Capital Trust, these girls had an inspiring visit immersing themselves in the exciting world of innovation and technology. Happy Year of the Snake! 🐍✨🏮We danced, enjoyed oriental performances, and played fun traditional games to ring in the Lunar New Year at our headquarters in Espoo, Finland. 💃🏻🪭 Our CTO Tomio Pihkala said: “Roughly half of our employees celebrate Lunar New Year around the world, including many here at our headquarters. This event is a truly wonderful example of how we embrace diversity and cultural richness here at KONE. Having lived in China for 4 years as an expat, I understand the importance of celebrating local traditions. Paw-some news! 🐱 Last summer, a kitten was spotted peeking out from behind the hoistway of an apartment building elevator, and a kind citizen called in the KONE rescue team. Maintenance Technician Colin Clow and Helper Tim Panton carefully released the tiny passenger, who was thankfully unscathed by the adventure. And the story has an even better ending: the kitten was taken to a local humane society and has now found a fur-ever home! Brilliant work, Colin and Tim! 💙 Read the whole story below: #LifeAtKONE
