Earlier this week, in honor of Pride Month, the Pride at Lucid ERG hosted a virtual employee event where attendees spent time learning about identities and pronouns and discussed themes such as the Meaning of Pride, Allyship, and Hope for the Future. Employees leaned in to share their personal stories with support and encouragement from their colleagues.
To celebrate Asian Pacific Islander American Heritage Month, we hosted a conversation in May titled “Celebrating Cultures” with leaders from the AAPI community. During the event, these leaders shared their stories and experiences that have shaped their personal and professional lives, with the intent to create awareness about the diversity of AAPI cultures, discuss common biases, highlight the role of managers in creating an inclusive culture, and encourage employees to show up as allies.
