Every year, International Women’s Day provides the opportunity to celebrate the progress made for women’s rights, women’s empowerment, and gender equality. The struggle for women’s rights has always required incredible courage, both in and out of the workplace. MTM is proud of our heritage as a woman-owned and operated business, and is honored to employ a diverse workforce comprised of 76% female staff. Historically, women have been underrepresented in transportation and leadership roles, and we strive to change that statistic by empowering female employees and helping them find their fit in the MTM family. Happy International Women’s Day to every woman—and every man—who is a champion for change!
