Perhaps you’ve heard we have some exciting news to share: Marvin has selected Kansas City, Kansas, as the future home of our next manufacturing facility. “Marvin has been on a significant growth trajectory over the past 6 years,” said Paul Marvin. “Investing in additional facilities are not only strategic for continued growth but will also help meet current and anticipated short-term demand in the marketplace.” Construction has begun for the 400,000-square-foot facility in Wyandotte County, opening in 2025.

Engineering has always been an integral part of the Marvin innovation story, and we're proud to have been named a Premier Partner in support of fundraising efforts toward North Dakota State University's new Richard Offerdahl '65 Engineering Complex. As one of the largest employers in Cass County, N.D., Marvin has nine area facilities that employ 146 NDSU alumni, and of those, 73 percent are engineers. Our annual meeting is an especially festive day at Marvin each year where we gather to celebrate and reflect on the year’s accomplishments. This year it was time to shine, with a highlight on the unique gifts each person at Marvin shares at work every day. We're fortunate to welcome Norb Schmidt as the newest member of Marvin's Board of Directors. As the Regional President and SVP of Global Operations for Kohler Co., Norb brings extensive leadership experience and operational insights to the Marvin board, along with industry experience and familiarity with high-design building products. We look forward to his unique perspective as we plan for ongoing growth.

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month and Senior Human Resources Manager Michelle Grimm, accepted this partnership recognition on behalf of Marvin from MN DEED, Vocational Rehabilitation Services. Michelle notes that there are numerous benefits to welcoming employees with different abilities, including above average productivity and attendance. It's also the right thing to do. Thanks to the work of Michelle and many others MN DEED noted, "Marvin has creatively matched their employment opportunities to the unique and varied abilities of people with disabilities in our community. Marvin is meeting their stated purpose by ‘imagining and creating better ways of living’ for all staff, which includes workers with disabilities."
