Methodist Dallas had to delay celebrating National Wear Red Day because icy weather disrupted the original Feb. 4 celebration. No problem! Employees celebrated later in the month, donning bright scarlet colors to raise awareness of the importance of getting your cardiac health screening. They're "red-dy" when you are!

Methodist transplant teams had a record year in 2021! They performed a remarkable 125 kidney transplants in a single year — the most in the modern history of Methodist's transplant program. What makes Martin Luther King Jr. Day so special? First, the man himself, who fought for freedom, equality, and dignity for all races. Second, it's the only national holiday designated a national day of service. Third, it honors the youngest and third Black man to win the Nobel Peace Prize. The reasons go on and on. But at Methodist, it serves as a reminder that diversity is our strength. And it always will be.
