"The rapid shift in monitoring strategy across the industry has been truly incredible to see and participate in over the past year. When traditional onsite monitoring came to a rapid halt, centralized statistical monitoring rose to the forefront, enabling PPD to continue our critical work in bringing life-changing therapies to market. I am so thankful for the opportunity to play a small part in shaping the future of clinical research through my contributions to centralized monitoring and taking part in the solution that’s working to bring this pandemic to an end," said Jenn Krohn, senior manager of data analytics, in Wilmington, N.C., pictured with Daisy. “This afternoon was certainly one of the brightest days of the pandemic so far. As an RN, I had the opportunity to administer #COVID19 vaccines to a very grateful group of seniors & first responders in Wilmington, N.C., U.S.,” said Kristin Behm, senior manager in clinical management. . Together as #OnePPD we celebrate #WorldImmunizationWeek2021
“Over the past months, I have had the unique opportunity to volunteer time administering the different COVID-19 vaccines locally in my community of Phoenix, Arizona. What I have experienced in return has been an overwhelming outpouring of gratitude from other volunteers, administrative site staff and logistics teams, and all of my fellow citizens receiving these vaccinations, which we all view as ‘doing our part’ to bring our state, our nation and our world back to health! My sincere hope is that others at PPD and all organizations around the globe take the opportunity to participate in any way they can to support recovery in their own communities,” said Timothy Miller, vice president and global therapeutic area head of pediatrics and rare diseases. Timothy and the others have volunteered to support and to administer vaccines at both large and small vaccination sites in Arizona. Together as #OnePPD we celebrate World Immunization Week 2021.
