Happy Holidays from Parexel! This holiday season, we’re planting a virtual Wishing Tree. A tradition in many cultures, Wishing Trees are displays of hope - wishes for the future. Our wish for the New Year is to continue innovating for our customers to bring treatments forward sooner for patients worldwide. We’ve donated to Make-A-Wish International, an organization devoted to creating life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. And we’ll donate on behalf of every wish we receive for our Wishing Tree between now and Dec. 31. Like and share this post with your wish for yourself, for patients or for the future of healthcare. #parexelwithheart
Ahead of World AIDS Day, "myGwork - LGBTQ+ professionals & allies" spoke with Nathalie Sohier, our SVP Head of Infectious Diseases and Vaccine, about her experience working with HIV patients. Click to read more from her interview.
In recognition of "National Family Caregiver Month", we'd like to thank caregivers, like our Patient Ambassador Stacy Hurt who sacrifice daily for their loved ones and act as pillars of support for their families, providing crucial care when it’s not easy to find balance. “Although he can’t speak, when he looks up at me with his big blue eyes and smiles at me — I smile at him — and I know that he knows how much he is loved.” Stacy Hurt’s son, Emmett, suffers from an ultra-rare disease that makes him fully dependent on his parents for care. Stacy’s role as a caregiver, while immensely rewarding, requires a tremendous amount of dedication and strength, especially as she has experienced her own severe health challenges. It’s the people who make Parexel! Meet Robbin, an Associate Manager – Statistical Programming based in Sheffield, UK. Robbin's career with Parexel began in 2014 as a Statistical Programmer Intern. She re-joined Parexel two years after graduation and has continued to progress and develop professionally. “My advice to future candidates would be to come as an open book,” she says. “Be prepared to be encouraged, to further yourself within the company and take every opportunity you can.” To learn more about Robbin’s role and explore our current graduate opportunities, click here: Quote on image: "Two big reasons I came back to Parexel after university was the support I got from my colleagues and the feeling of being looked after while I was a student."

In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Parexel colleagues were invited to attend a live cooking demonstration led by our very own Jose Manuel Malaga Cardoza ("Manny")! Manny showed how to cook with flair — making Lomo Saltado, a classic Peruvian dish. Watch him make it or follow along!

Last week, we were excited to continue our Parexel Connect series, this time in Atlanta at Terminus 330 located in the heart of the city's Centennial Olympic Park District. Our Parexel Connect events bring together Parexel colleagues in an area not located in proximity to a physical office to establish stronger connections and build their Parexel network for the future. Our Atlanta event hosted by Peyton Howell, Chief Operating & Growth Officer, was a great opportunity for many employees to meet fellow colleagues for the first time and to celebrate the many contributions of the Atlanta team to Parexel's success. We're already looking forward to our next Connect event!
Huge congratulations to Jim Anthony, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Parexel Biotech, on being honored in the PharmaVoice 100 list of most inspiring people in the life sciences industry! “Going the extra mile” has always been key to Jim’s approach — not just with patients and clients, but as a leader on his own team. We at Parexel are lucky to have him as he works internally to advocate for diversity and inclusion and externally, always putting patients first.
