Residents at Peter Sanborn Reading in Reading, MA had fun creating a COVID themed craft. Inspired by last year’s toilet paper shortage, they created decorative toilet paper pumpkins! Residents enjoyed the comedic relief of the "COVID Craft" and each took home two rolls of decorated “pumpkins” complete with cinnamon stick stalks! Peter Sanborn Reading in Reading, MA has done a wonderful job building an onsite relationship with the Reading Cooperative Bank, which has allowed residents to bank right from the comfort of home with the friendly, familiar faces of the local bank branch that they are so used to. Each Wednesday, a representative from the Reading Cooperative Bank arrives for one hour in a private “Banking Office” in the Community Room and assists residents with a variety of banking needs. The “Walk Up Window” is an added health safety measure to ensure that both the representative and residents are staying socially distant and safe. This longtime program is such a convenience for participating residents and a welcomed return to the Peter Sanborn Reading community. Pictured here are resident Jason D. and bank representative Dawn M. We look forward to many more “Banking Wednesdays” with the friendly folks from Reading Cooperative Bank! #wearepeabody #StrongerTogether #ResidentServices
