It’s National Public Health Week and there has never been a more fitting time to acknowledge the work of public health and healthcare professionals than in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you to all the the brave men and women fighting COVID-19 around the world!
In addition to social distancing when going out in public for an essential trip, wearing face covers will help to reduce the risk of a person spreading the virus, especially if they do not know they are sick. The CDC recommends face coverings should be worn anytime someone is outside the home, including on walks or other passive recreational activities. Stay healthy and safe! #wellnesswednesday #strongertogether #wearepeabody
Supporting our clients ranks high on our list of priorities as we navigate the Coronavirus crisis. We are constantly working with local and state officials, fellow multifamily business leaders and community groups to identify ways to reduce the negative impacts of this unprecedented global emergency. It is a collective endeavor with everyone’s eye toward proactively addressing the economic hardships some of our residents are experiencing. We’re here for our clients – now, when the storm is upon us and later, when it has passed through. #wearepeabody #strongertogether
Motivational Monday. #strongertogether
At Peabody, we are best known for our team-oriented culture and exceptional customer service. As a family owned company, we have long-celebrated strong ties to our residents and our employees, and we have worked ceaselessly to nurture the deep roots we have established within the communities we serve. It is for that reason we are being called to action now as essential employees. While we may not be on the front-lines working in hospitals as medical professionals and caring for all those who are sick, we are on the front-lines within our management offices and our communities, ensuring that we are maintaining and protecting the place that our residents call home. Even now under seemingly impossible circumstances, we must strive each day to make a positive difference in the lives of all those we serve, to lead with a "respect is key" mentality and to uphold our mission to put the HOME in housing - even during times of crisis. #wearepeabody #strongertogether
In times like these, we need actionable, practical ways to cope with stress, fear, and anxiety. The meditations, podcasts, blogs, and talks by Ten Percent Happier will help you build resilience and find some calm amidst the chaos. #wellnesswedneday #wearepeabody
Providing housing for residents involves much more than building bricks and mortar. Property management is a people business. Offering much needed resident services, while also offering a connection to the larger community in which they reside, are essential amenities, now more than ever. Peabody Resident Services President, Doreen Bushashia, shares the added value of resident services in housing. #wearepeabody #weputthehomeinhousing
We are continually updating and making available our Resident Resource Guide - that lists contact information and links to local food distribution “grab and go” centers, school-based breakfast and lunch programs for children, senior services, emergency childcare, state unemployment applications, emergency funds and more. This document is being added to regularly as the current Coronavirus situation changes. #wearepeabody #strongertogether
