In honor of Women’s History Month, we’ll be doing a spotlight series on the women of Premise Health. Today, we’re sharing more from our Chief Financial Officer, Shannon Farrington. Read below to find out what advice she would give to women trying to break into traditionally male-dominated fields. "Breaking into a traditionally male-dominated field can be a challenging task, but it is definitely achievable with the right mindset, skills, and strategies. Here are some pieces of advice for women trying to make a mark in a male-dominated industry: Focus on building skills and knowledge: It is important to develop expertise in your chosen area. Seek out training, mentorship, and additional education opportunities to expand your skill. Be resilient and persistent: It will take time and effort. There will be setbacks and obstacles along the way, but it is important to stay focused, determined, and persistent in your pursuit of success. Believe in yourself and your abilities. Recognize that you have the skills, knowledge, and talent to succeed in the field.
