Premise Health is excited to announce the opening of two nearsite wellness centers in Atlanta, Georgia! Located in the cities of Smyrna and Tyrone, the Premise nearsite wellness centers are shared among multiple employers and dedicated to their eligible employees and their families. Premise currently has nearsite wellness centers shared among multiple employers in 14 different markets across the country. As a company, it now operates 21 wellness centers in the Atlanta area serving 17 clients and more than 175,000 eligible members.
To wrap up American Pharmacists month, Corey Hampton, pharmacy operations manager explains what this month means to him: “American Pharmacists Month and National Pharmacy Technician Day are times to recognize how valuable the pharmacy staff is to the healthcare system. I see our pharmacists taking the time to extensively counsel our members on their medications. Celebrations are in order for our General Dynamics Electric Boat Family Pharmacy in Groton, Connecticut! The team recently won Best Pharmacy for their local newspaper’s 2022 “Best Of” competition after being unknowingly nominated by their members. This is a huge accomplishment for a private pharmacy. They had enough members vote for them to beat out all the other community pharmacies in their area!
Congratulations to Ryan Donnelly, vice president of strategy and innovation at Premise Health, on his acceptance into the University of Oxford's master’s degree program in Global Healthcare Leadership! This selective program is comprised of 30 senior healthcare executives from 20 countries with the goal of developing leaders to drive innovation and address the most complex and pressing global health issues. This two-year, part-time program begins in September.

Premise Health clinical leader Maria Romano, MSN, NP-C, joins Epic Advisory Steering Board aimed at addressing social determinants of health. The Steering Board will collaborate with Epic staff and other Epic organizations to identify areas to improve social determinants of health and patient care.
