New research finds that over the next 30 years, #climatechange and increasing CO2 could significantly reduce the availability of critical nutrients in our food, compared to a world free of their impact. These total impacts of climate shocks and elevated levels of carbon in the air are estimated to reduce growth in global per capita nutrient availability of protein, iron and zinc by 19.5, 14.4 and 14.6 percent, respectively. Robert Beach, PhD, a senior economist and fellow at RTI, was the lead author of the study. Read it here: http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMeFt
