Meet Akshitha Kartigueyan—a rising junior, majoring in #ComputerScience and minoring in #Economics at Purdue University. She is one of the #MachineLearning interns at our Lexington, MA, office. By the end of high school, Akshitha knew that she really liked math, public speaking, and debating. She wanted to pursue a field that combined those skillsets, which ultimately led her to computer science. In her free time, Akshitha loves playing badminton and trying new foods and restaurants. So glad to have you interning with us, Akshitha!
Hello again to Seth Derstine—one of our returning interns in the #CommercialInnovationCenter. He is rising senior at University of Dayton, majoring in #ComputerEngineering and minoring in #ComputerScience. Seth chose to pursue the #STEM field because growing up, he always enjoyed more of the technical-type classes and resonated with those subjects. Outside of the classroom, Seth enjoys creating and manipulating audio in tools such as FL Studio and GarageBand. He is also training for his first half marathon. Happy to have you with us, Seth!
Join us in welcoming our 2024 summer interns! 🎉 They will be supporting our #CommercialInnovationCenter, #MachineLearning, #SecureAndResilientSystems, #SoftwareApplications, and #RadarAssessmentAndDevelopment teams. We’re excited to have you on board and look forward to the fresh perspectives and energy you’ll bring to our organization! On Saturday, June 1, Riverside Research’s Veterans’ Employee Resource Group (VERG) participated in welcoming home more than 100 World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and Cold War era veterans as part of Dayton’s second Honor Flight this year. This Honor Flight permitted the veterans to visit monuments commemorating their service in Washington, DC. When the veterans arrived at Dayton International Airport, they were greeted by the Wright Patterson Air Force Band of Flight, Centerville Community Band, active Armed Forces service members, Honor Flight alumni, their proud families and friends, and members from many other organizations such as ours. “This is always a very special event and one filled with love, pride, and tears,” said Larry Johnson, Technical Project Manager at Riverside Research and VERG Chair. “I am so thankful for the VERG members that came out and supported this amazing experience.” VERG members pictured left to right: Larry L. Johnson II and Steph Copeland.
Dayton members of our Veterans’ Employee Resource Group (VERG) were proud to support Veterans Moving Forward, an annual event connecting veterans with resource organizations and career opportunities. Veterans Moving Forward is hosted by the Greater Miami Valley myVeteran community. Championed by Technical Project Manager and our VERG Chair, Larry L. Johnson II, our VERG team assembled to help veterans find vital resources at this event.
