Our second Building Homes for Heroes, Inc. veteran for 2022 United States Air Force Technical Sergeant Rahmeka Hopkins bravely served her country for 15 years. Working in Special Operations, TSgt. Hopkins operated daily in life-changing situations in a fast-paced environment, causing underlying effects on her health. After being hospitalized 35 times, spending six months at Walter Reed and seeing more than seven different specialists, she was finally diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. She also suffers from severe nerve damage and malignant arthritis all over her body, which has caused her to be confined to a wheelchair. TSgt. Hopkins and her family will receive a mortgage-free home in Lakeland, FL that is accessible to her needs as she continues her fight against cancer. Learn more about the Hopkins family and visit our fundraising page to donate at saic.co/bhhfund22 Thank you for your support!

Through SAIC’s citizenship program, our employees have the opportunity to improve the communities in which they live and work. Our Huntsville Women’s Employee Resource Group held a donation drive to collect items for Manna House, a non-profit community partner, that provides food assistance to those in need, along with basic toiletries and clothing. Our team was able to provide over 7,000 daily essential items to support this important cause.
