SSOE is excited to serve as engineer on the Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering project in Huntsville, Alabama. The first of its kind, this new school will provide students interested in a career in cybersecurity early exposure by developing their skill sets at the high school level. Raytheon, a defense contractor headquartered in Cummings Research Park where the school will also reside, recently announced a donation of $4 million to the cyber-focused magnet school that is currently holding classes at Oakwood University until the new facility is completed. #WorkforceDevelopment #SSOEsoutheast
