Spreading love and gratitude to our brave U.S. military troops stationed afar! As we observe Military Appreciation Month in May, Santander Consumer USA employees had an amazing time volunteering with Airborne Angel Cadets of Texas, writing cards, prepping and decorating boxes to be used as care packages filled with essentials and extra goodies that may be hard to find at many military outposts overseas. Airborne Angel Cadets began in 2005 with just a small group of ladies and has grown to over 100 men and women in Carrollton, TX. Care packages are now sent year-round to all branches of troops stationed in hot spots in foreign countries throughout the world. Funding for postage, which amounts to nearly $60,000 each year, has always been their greatest need and the raising of these funds is their greatest challenge.
