Meet Stefani (she/her), Executive Assistant and proud first-generation Chinese American. 🪭 "I spent my childhood summers in SF Chinatown at open-air food markets, eating dim sum, watching kung fu movies, and doing Tai Chi with my grandma in the park. Even though I was often one of the few Asian kids in school, I never let that stop me from embracing my culture. Today, I’ve found that same sense of belonging at Sephora. Sephora created the spaces with so many amazing DE&I groups, all I had to do was pick. And I chose INspirASIAN and WorkingParents. The people, the culture, the events, the products—all these things create this beautiful environment where people can be themselves, be seen and feel beautiful." What's more beautiful than feeling connected to your cultural roots while being part of something bigger. That's what Sephora is all about for Stefani. 🧧❤️
Stepping out for a cause 🏃♀️➡️ This past spring, Sephora team members across the country went the distance in support of Best Buddies, one of our strategic nonprofit partners. Through our participation in annual Friendship Walks, we’re taking steps towards inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. For the second year in a row, Sephora was the top corporate fundraising team nationally. From coast to coast, our teams are proud to make strides together for friendship, acceptance, and lasting change.

Meet Cassandra (she/her), Director of Digital Production, and proud daughter of Singaporean Chinese immigrants. She’s reminding us that culture is something you own. 💛 “I am the proud product of Singaporean Chinese immigrants. Growing up, I used to be embarrassed of being different than my peers. Now, as I prepare to become a parent with my Japanese American husband, I want my son to know just how powerful and beautiful that difference is. I want him to be proud of who he is—Chinese and Japanese American—and of the culture his grandparents brought with them.” Here’s to raising the next generation with pride 🦁🎏
The intern to full-time pipeline is strong at Sephora! “My advice for interns is to build valuable connections because this is exactly how I landed a full-time role. During our Intern On-Site Week, we flew to San Francisco to meet the team. At the networking mixer, I spoke with one of the VPs in technology who had a role available for me. Thanks to this connection, I was able to start a full-time role just 10 days after my internship ended.” - Temi, eCommerce Engineering

🗓️ From April 15 to May 15, we came together to uplift our communities and help create a world of inspiration and inclusion where everyone can celebrate their beauty by: 👟 Participating in over 45 Best Buddies Friendship Walks 💄 Kitting 25,000 gifts for women and girls with Project Glimmer ♻️ Aiding in over 10 environmental cleanups But the work didn't stop there. Our employees earned DOUBLE volunteer rewards match! For every hour an employee volunteered, we donated $40 to their favorite nonprofit.
