Simon-Kucher & Partners Elects Two New Board Members The global strategy and marketing consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners has elected two new partners to their leadership board. Dr. Allison Dupuy and Dirk Kars began their terms on January 1, 2021. “We are very excited to welcome Allison and Dirk to the leadership board”, says CEO Mark Billige. “They bring a wealth of experience and a new perspective with them.”
Simon-Kucher on a Steady Growth Path The global strategy and marketing consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners ended the 2020 financial year with an annual revenue of 361.5 million euros (406.2 million US dollars). This equals a growth rate of one percent compared to the previous year, with the Life Sciences division reporting the largest increase in revenue (19 percent). “2020 wasn’t an easy year for any company or industry,” says co-CEO Mark Billige. “We weren’t able to achieve what we had originally planned for the previous year. But despite the ongoing crisis, we are optimistic for 2021 and expect we’ll be able to quickly find our way back to our usual double-digit growth -- thanks in no small part to our strong team of committed and motivated employees.”
Simon-Kucher Named Best Consultancy for Marketing & Sales In the study “Germany’s Best Consultants”, ran by the research institute Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft for Management and Beratung (WGMB) and published in the business monthly manager magazin, the global strategy and marketing consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners has won first place in the category “Marketing & Sales”. Simon-Kucher once again takes the leading position and ranks ahead of other top players in the consulting industry.

On January 1, 2020, Mark Billige (41, UK) and Dr. Andreas von der Gathen (51, Germany) officially stepped into their new roles as CEOs of the global marketing and strategy consultancy Simon-Kucher & Partners. They are taking over from Dr. Georg Tacke (60), who led the company from 2009 and whose term ended at the end of 2019. Under Tacke’s leadership, revenue roughly quadrupled, and he hands over a thriving company to his successors.

However, our latest Digital Health Trend Study published shows that digital transformation is progressing slowly, and firms are often unsure which direction to move in. Fifty-nine percent of pharma, medtech, and consumer healthcare companies still lack a fully defined digital strategy.
